Mariana Palma works with issues from the Baroque, such as asymmetry,excess, and the movement disorder. Her works bring together disparate pieces of Flemish painting, European Baroque architecture, botany, fabrics and patterns from various sources, the tiled inlay and the flutter of pictorial images that blend into lush.
